Holiday Roast

This holiday season we are so proud to offer this truly excellent Kenyan coffee from the Iyego Farmers Cooperative Society.

The Iyego FCS produces coffee grown by over 7500 member farmers, with the vision to create “A prosperous and sustainable Cooperative Society with an informed, satisfied and economically empowered membership.” To that end, the Coop is fully owned by the members who contribute and is regulated by the Cooperatives Act.

To promote the growth of the Cooperative Society and empower the members, the Iyego FCS invests in member training on topics such as coffee husbandry, nutrition, and control of pests and diseases. Further, they seek to protect their environment in reducing reliance on harmful pesticides and fertilizers and providing shade trees to farmers to improve the health of the soil and coffee it produces.
