Our French Roast is a high quality Colombia Supremo roasted into what is known as second crack. During this phase the bean is expanding for a second time and beginning to carbonize. It is here where the rich torched sugar and smoky flavors develop, acidity is mostly muted, and a luxuriously smooth coffee is created.
